From the Website:
Beth Warner, founder and designer of RAW BAGS, was first inspired by the raw textiles and natural materials she encountered while working as a buyer for a large multinational importing firm. Inspired by her experience, she left her position as a buyer to focus exclusively on designing with these raw textiles and natural materials in mind. In 2005, Beth designed her first clotch using stained bamboo sticks. From there, the RAW BAGS line has rapidly expanded from bamboo clutches to varying styles of handbags and wallets. While the current RAW BAGS line consists of bamboo, raw leather and rattan products, Beth is currently exploring raw silk and recycled paper markets.
The RAW BAGS line offers unique designs using the fresh and modern feel of natural materials. RAW BAGS design studio is located in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood. RAW BAGS can be found in boutiques throughout the United States.
